There is a change in every aspect of her life, and it is creating a great impact on the family as a whole. As her parent, we seem to disagree on most things leading to conflicts. First, is about her lifestyle choices and habits. Her lifestyle has changed greatly especially on the aspect of healthy eating. Every day she is consuming a lot of unhealthy food, and it is creating concern over a possibility of a lifestyle disease. When I confront her about it, she becomes irritable, and her response is not respectful. This is not the only change in her life. Her choice of words is also bothering me. The way she communicates and interacts is worrying. She talks rudely, and it becomes hard to understand her. Moreover, she does not go to church as she used to before. She rarely prays and her ideologies on religion and life have changed. Before, she was a devotee who truly valued God and the teachings of the church. Additionally, her work habits have changed. Before, she was hard working and always finished the duties I assigned to her on time. She loved helping with the house chores, and she was always tidy. However, of late she does not care about any of these duties. She comes home from college and goes straight to her room. The issues have ruined the relationship I had with my daughter, and I have decided to resolve these conflicts.To re-establish the relationship I had with my daughter, I have decided to resolve these conflicts. The main reason the conflicts are arising is because of the different perceptions we have regarding the topics addressed. Research indicates that many parents with adult children in the United States are facing conflicts because of the different opinions they hold with their children. Many children upon reaching the adult age feel they have a right to express their feelings and opinions concerning different matters without interference from the parents....
